ODESSA, Texas — A collision with a motorcyclist and two vehicles has left one dead in West Odessa. The accident occurred Sunday at 6:05 p.m. on on Farm-to-Market Road 2020.

According to reports, Saul S. Ramirez-Lujan, 72, of Odessa was traveling east in his Dodge Ramon Farm-to-Market Road 2020 while the motorcyclist, Rodolfo T. Medrano, 26, of Odessa, was driving west.

Ramirez-Lujan then failed to yield the right of way as he attempted to turn left onto Moss Avenue. The Dodge Ram then collided with Medrano.

Medrano was taken to a local hospital by first responders but was pronounced dead upon arrival by a medical examiner.

At the time of the crash, Ramirez-Lujan was not wearing a seatbelt. It is reported that Medrano was wearing a helmet.
