i-10-truck-crash-west-of-el-pasoEl Paso, TX — One person has died after a tractor-trailer crash on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. The accident happened west of El Paso near the Texas-Mexico state line
 
A semi-truck was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 when the truck entered the center median. This caused the semi to crash into the overpass column at Anthony Exit 0. 
 
According to the DPS, interstate 10 closed in both directions, and traffic was diverted. This allowed crews to clean up the aftermath of the crash. The closure took about five hours. 
 
Law enforcement has not released any further details or the identity of the person killed. The investigation was ongoing throughout Wednesday.
